Thiết bị mạng switch Cisco Meraki MX100 vừa là router, firewall thế hệ mới, bộ lưu lượng truy cập, và internet gateway được quản lý và cấu hình tập trung thông qua giao diện web. MX100 cung cấp 1 bộ tính năng mở rộng nhưng rất dễ triển khai và quản lý. Viêc cấu hình và quản lý bằng giao diện web sử dụng công nghệ điện toán đám mây cho phép giám chi phí đào tạo nhân viên quản trị, phần mềm tự động nâng cấp khi có bản update mới.

Switch meraki MX100 sử dụng công nghệ bleeding-edge và market-leading (IPS) thông qua công cụ Sourcefire để chống lại các lỗ hổng bảo mật như virut, rootkit… Sourcefire cập nhật các quy tắc bảo mật hàng ngày để bảo vệ nhưng mối nguy hiểm mới nhất và chúng được gửi tới khách hàng MX trong vòng 1 giờ mà không cần phải kiểm tra thủ công, giúp các quản trị viên có thể đưa ra các giải pháp khắc phục.
